Helene M. Sardinha

Helene M. Sardinha, 79, of Bristol, RI, died peacefully on Monday October 26, 2015. She was the beloved wife of George R. Sardinha. Born in Warren, RI, on October 21, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Richard Turner and Emily (Scoles) Turner Salisbury and step-daughter of the late George Salisbury. Mrs. Sardinha had been employed at the former Carol Cable, Co. in Warren, RI. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in Bristol and a member of the Holy Rosary Society at St. Elizabeth. Helene was a die- hard New England Patriots Fan and Boston Red Sox Fan. Besides her loving and devoted husband of 60 years she will be sadly missed by her children; George J. Sardinha of Bristol, Richard E. Sardinha of ME, James A. Sardinha and his wife Cindy of Bristol, Robert J. Sardinha and his wife Lori of Bristol, Karen Flowers and her husband Brian of Rumford, RI and Kathy Segui and her husband Michael of Sliver Hill, AL. She was the loving grandmother 13 and great grandmother of 8. She also leaves her sister, Doreen Dumont of Ocean Grove, MA. The Sardinha family will greet relatives and friends from 4-8 pm on Monday November 2, 2015 at the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, RI. Funeral Mass and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Helenes memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund 10 Brookline Place, West Brookline, MA 02445-7226
