Helen Rinaldi

Mrs. Helen (Shisko) Rinaldi, age 90, of Silver Creek Manor, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol, and formerly of Benjamin Church Manor, 1014 Hope St., Bristol, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Carmine “Fred” Rinaldi. Born in Pawtucket and raised in Warren, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Porenska) Shisko. She lived in Warren and Bristol most of her life. She was a secretary for John Hancock Life Insurance Company in East Providence for over 15 years, retiring in the late 1970s. She had previously worked at the former Premier Thread Co., the former Collins and Aikman Co., both formerly in Bristol and the former Crown Fastener in Warren. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society at the church and active in many Sr. Citizen Groups and activities in the East Bay area. She is survived by two sons, Richard L. Rinaldi and his wife, Eileen of Bristol, Robert P. Rinaldi and his wife, Barbara of Mooresville, NC, three grandchildren; Michael P. Rinaldi of Rumford, Christen B. Meyer of Providence and Danielle G. Rinaldi of Bristol and a great granddaughter, Logan Rinaldi. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Shisko and a sister Jerra Plant. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, February 18 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope St., Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
