Mrs. Helen (Pinhero) Mancieri, age 87, of Thompson Avenue, Bristol, died Thursday, Jan. 4, at the St. Elizabeths Manor, 1 Dawn Hill, Bristol. She was the wife of Frank M. Mancieri, Sr., her husband of 60 years. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Sousa) Pinhero. Mrs. Mancieri was a seamstress for the former Priscilla Sportswear, formerly in Bristol for 15 years, retiring a number of years ago. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol and enjoyed bowling for many years. She is survived in addition to her husband, by a daughter, Marguerite Allen of Johnston, a son, Frank M. Mancieri, Jr. and his wife, Suzanne of Woonsocket, four grandchildren, Kristen and Garrett Mancieri, Jennifer and Caitlin Allen, a brother, Anthony Pinhero of Bristol, two sisters, Palmeida Parisi of Warwick and Clara Gaspar of Bristol. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Det. Sgt. James L. Allen, Providence Police Dept., two brothers, Joseph and Manuel Pinhero, four sisters, Frances Rebello, Marion Cabral, Mary Frances, and Sarah DeCrescenzo. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8:00 AMwith a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visiting hours, Monday, 4:00-8:00 PM.
