Mrs. Helen C. (Cabral) Cirillo, age 80, of 108 Union Street, Bristol, died Sunday, October 29 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, 54 Barker Avenue, Warren. She was the wife of Ralph E. Cirillo, her husband of 59 years. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Vargas) Cabral. Mrs. Cirillo was a Secretary for the Bristol Public School System at the Guiteras School for 20 years, retiring in 1987. She had previously worked at the former B.W. Wall Insurance Agency and the William Maisano Insurance Agency. She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1943, a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality at the Church, the daily Mass group at St. Marys Church, a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a member of Hope Circle # 70, Daughters of Isabella, all in Bristol. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Carol L. Cirillo of Bristol, two sons, Ralph E. Cirillo, Jr., of Barrington and Kenneth J. Cirillo of Centerville, MA, a sister, Mary G. Ferreira of Bristol and six grandchildren; Matthew J., Michael C., Mark D., Kendra A., Morgan E. and Taylor B. Cirillo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Cabral. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, Nov. 2, at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Wednesday, 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
