Geraldine R. (Oliver) Morra, 95, of Bristol passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Morra. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Perry) Oliver. Geraldine was a lifelong communicant of St. Elizabeths Church in Bristol. She devoted her life to her faith and to her family. She lived a very simple life. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family, reminiscing, and sharing stories of growing up on Case Farm on Poppasquash Point in Bristol. She enjoyed celebrating the Fourth of July and she made sure that all the family traditions were continued and passed down. She loved all sports; she was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Bruins. Geraldine will forever be remembered for her amazing capacity to always see the best in everyone. Her humble nature, innate kindness, and her selfless generosity will always be remembered by everyone who knew her and even those she had just met. She was a very special wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved with all her heart and was loved dearly; she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons: Michael Morra (Linda), Glen Morra (Kristen), Robert Morra (Jo-Ann); her grandchildren: Brett Morra (Chelsea), Jennifer Morra (Sean), Stephen Morra (Lindsey), Karlie Morra-Tavares (Alex), Jameson Morra (Kaitlyn), and Lauren Morra; and her great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Maci Jae, Austin, Brinley, and Gabriella. In addition to her beloved husband Michael and her parents, Geraldine was also pre-deceased by her grandchild: Michael J. Morra; and her five siblings: George, Edmund, Roger, Beatrice, and Mary. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 9:00 AM at St. Elizabeths Church; 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will be private. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Elizabeths Church. Services Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday July 10, 2024 9:00 AM St. Elizabeth Church (Wood Street, Bristol, Rhode Island) Cemetery St. Mary's Cemetery Chestnut Street Bristol, RI Private Committal
