Mr. Frank M. Mancieri,age 89, of Thompson Avenue, Bristol, died Friday, Apr. 13, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He recently resided at Saint Elizabeth Manor, 1 Dawn Hill, Bristol. He was the husband of the late Helen Mancieri, his wife of 60 years. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late Saverio and Margherita (Marabello) Mancieri. Mr. Mancieri was a foreman for the former Kaiser Aluminum Chemical Corporation, in Bristol for over 30 years, and a machinist at the former Keene Corporation, in East Providence for 8 years, retiring a number of years ago. He was a communicant of Saint Elizabeths Church, Bristol and enjoyed playing cards at Cup Defenders and being with his family. He is survived by a daughter, Marguerite Allen of Johnston, a son, Frank M. Mancieri, Jr. and his wife, Suzanne of Woonsocket, four grandchildren, Kristen and Garrett Mancieri, Jennifer and Caitlin Allen, two brothers, Nicholas and Saverio Mancieri of Bristol, and a sister, Carmela Mello of Bristol. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Det. Sgt. James L. Allen, Providence Police Dept., two brothers, Bonoventuro and Cosmo Mancieri, three sisters, Antoinette Diodotti, Mary Alice and Caroline Mancieri. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, Apr. 18 at 9 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visiting hours, Tuesday, 4-8 PM.
