Mrs. Francoise E. “Fran” (Daigle) Masse, age 80 of Benjamin Church Manor, Bristol, died peacefully Sunday, August 31, 2008 at St. Elizabeths Manor, Bristol. She was the wife of Joseph Hector Masse and the late Robert Sonny” Nadeau. Born in Woonsocket, RI, a daughter of the late Leo and Melina (Perrier) Daigle. A Bristol resident, she also resided in Cumberland for 20 years and Port Charlotte, FL. Mrs. Masse was a sample maker for Texas Instruments in Attleboro, MA for 20 years retiring in 1988. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society; she was also a member of the Bristol Senior Center, Benjamin Church Tenants Association, Bristol Senior Council and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by three sons, Paul Noury and his wife Pauline of Seekonk, MA, Michael Noury and his wife Robin of Ashaway and Robert Noury and his wife Pam of Pawtucket, three daughters, Rachel Noury and her husband Jack Quinn of Bristol, Denise Arrighi and her husband Paul of Pawtucket and Cheryl Egge Noury of Warren, nineteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Thursday at 9:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visiting hours Wednesday 4:00-8:00 PM.
