Fernanda Almeida

Fernanda Almeida, 72, of Bristol passed away peacefully in Newport on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 with her family at her side. She was the loving wife of the late John Almeida for many years until his passing in 2006. Born in Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Marianna DeLima. Fernanda worked at Converse for many years. Fernanda is survived by her children: Melissa J. Almeida, Gina M. Adams (George), John A. Almeida; her grandchildren: Jenna Adams and Brett Almeida (Lindsay); her great grandchild: Levi Botelho; her brothers: Faustino Lima and Joseph Lima; and many extended family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband John, her parents, and several of her siblings. Visiting Hours will be held at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol on Saturday, December 16, 2023 for 4:00 Pm 7:00 PM. Burial will be private.
