Mr. Ernest Navach, age 71, formerly of Chestnut St., Providence, died suddenly, Monday, June 18, 2007 at Roger Williams Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, RI a son of the late David Navach and Mary (Estrella) Navach-Mooney. He was the former husband of Catherine Harris-Navach. He worked for the Providence School Department for 27 years before retiring. He served honorably in the US Army. He was a member of Providence YMCA and he was a State Handball Champ, he was a member of the Sons of Italy, East Providence. He is survived by three sons, David E. Navach of North Providence, Donald Larson of Indiana, and Thomas Larson of MA, two daughters, Kathryn K. ODonovan of West Warwick, and Angela Gannon of Coventry, seven grandchildren, Samantha, Alexann, Nicholas, Philip, Jordan, Ryan and Meghan, a sister Elaine Atturio of Warwick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Ernest Navach. Funeral Services will be held from the Sansone Funeral Home. 192 Wood St., Bristol Friday at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visiting Hours Thursday, 4-8 PM.
