Mr. Erik Michael Hanuschak, age 25, of 37 Cliff Dr., Bristol, died Monday at his home. Born in Providence and a lifelong resident of Bristol, he was the son of Tom and Robin Perry of Bristol and Ronald Hanuschak of Riverside. He was the loving father of Tori and Kayla Hanuschak of Bristol, brother of Nikolas Hanuschak and his wife, Jessica of Barrington and Melissa Perry of Bristol, uncle of Nikolas and Riley Hanuschak of Barrington. He was the grandson of Eileen Guercia of Bristol and the late Nick Guercia, the late Stanley and Collette Hanuschak and the late Christine Perry, and the great grandson of the late Mary Frey. Erik was employed by Advantaged Glass in Cranston, he attended St. Philomena Elementary School and Bishop Connelly High School. Growing up Erik played sports for the Bristol Little League, Bristol Youth Soccer Association, Bristol Midget Football and was very active with the Bristol Recreation Summer program. Erik was a swimmer with the Bristol YMCA swim team. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, April 24, at 10:00 AM in St. Marys Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Monday, April 23, 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Erik Hanuschak Memorial Fund for the education of his daughters, Tori and Kayla, C/O Citizens Bank,576 Metacom Avenue, Bristol, RI 02809 or dropped by any Citizens Bank Branch.
