Eleanor B. Cabral, 87, of Bristol passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 3, 2021. She was the wife of John R. Cabral, Sr. for 62 years until his passing in 2015. Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Menese) and Manuel Morris. Eleanor was the owner/operator of Cabrals Meat Market for many years before retirement. Eleanor was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church in Bristol where she was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. Eleanor enjoyed cooking, reading autobiographies, and most of all spending time with her family. Eleanor leaves behind her children: John R. Cabral, Jr. (Dorothy), Jeannette Cabral (Michael), and Jennifer Cabral (David); her grandchildren: Justin Motta, Cara D. Sousa (Steve), Madeline A. Toste (Kyle), John D. Cabral (Megan), Meaghan A. Carotenuti, Sean Loras (Louisa), Timothy R. Lima, Catherine R. Cabral (Rick), Thomas TJ J. Cabral; her Great Grandchildren: Emma C. Sousa, Samuel J. Sousa, Logan J. Toste, Lucian J. Toste, Levi H. Toste, Leah A. Carotentuti, Vincent J. Carotentuti, Michael J. Loras, Jasmine Loras, Mikayla Loras, Abigail M. Beane, Evelyn M. Savage; her siblings: Raymond Morris, Geraldine Bettencourt, Bernadette Wallace; and many extended family and friends. In death, Eleanor is reunited with her husband John, her daughter Diane Motta, her parents, and her brother Daniel Morris. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at St. Elizabeth Manor for their kindness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM on Saturday February 6, 2021 inside St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to the American Alzheimers Society.
