Eileen Malafronte

Eileen (Furtado) Malafronte, 75, of Bristol, died peacefully at home after a year-long illness on June 21, 2022. She was the devoted wife of Ralph A. Malafronte for over 53 years. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Olympia (Rebello) Furtado. Eileen was an elementary school teacher for the Bristol/Warren School Department for over 20 years until her retirement in 2009. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Her family and closest friends meant the world to her and being with them was when she was happiest. Eileen especially treasured time with her grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is survived by their three loving sons, Christopher and his wife Erin of Atlanta, GA, Brian, and Alan and his wife Jennifer of East Greenwich, and four beloved grandchildren, Nolan, Nathan, Nina and Daniel. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10 AM from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Sansone Funeral Home from 9-10 AM.
