Dorothy P. Cupolo

Mrs. Dorothy P. (Doyle) Cupolo, age 76, of 11 Fesser Ave, Bristol, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the loving wife of John Cupolo, his wife of 51 years. Born in Providence, RI, and a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Mahon) Doyle. Dorothy was a homemaker andshe was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. She loved to travel with her husband, she was an avid Red Sox Fan and loved gardening. In addition to herhusband, she is survived by a son, David Cupolo of North Myrtle Beach, SC, a daughter,Nora Saccoccio of Johnston, eight grandchildren, abrother, Thomas Doyle of East Greenwich and a sister, Ann Branscomb of Pawtucket. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Anthony J. and Robert A. Cupolo. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Friday, 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809.
