Doris M. Silvia

Mrs. Doris M. (Brooks) Silvia, age 82 of 59 Hopeworth Avenue, Bristol, died Friday, October 12, 2007 at her home. She was the wife of Frank C. Silvia, her husband of 62 years. Born in Chazey Lake, NY a daughter of the late Newell and Catherine (Gregory) Brooks. Mrs. Silvia was a secretary for the former Bristol County Movers formerly in Bristol for many years. She was a communicant of St. Marys Church, Bristol. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Paul Silvia and his wife Dianne of Bristol, Frank M. Silvia of Scituate, a brother, Daniel Brooks of Patterson, GA, three grandchildren, Frank M. Silvia, Jr., Joseph N. and Kristen M. Silvia andfour great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Robert Brooks and a sister, Mildred Clayton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 20, 2007at 11:00 AM in St. Marys Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
