Donald Thayer

Mr. Donald Thayer, age 63, passed away Friday, January, 30, 2009 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Warren. He was born in Cranston, the son of the late George Thayer and the late Louise Matteson Thayer. He lived at Ladd School from 1957 to 1981, in Tiverton on Highland Court from 1981 to 2000 and in Barrington on New Meadow Road from 2000 to 2008. He was employed by the James L. Maher Center at their Bristol facility. He was a delightful and gentle gentleman with many friends and he loved his country music and his coffee. A celebration of his life will beheld on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial followed in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the James L. Maher Center, P.O. Box 4390, Middletown, R.I. 02842.
