Dianne A. (Albro) Carota, 78, of Bristol passed away peacefully in Providence, RI on Saturday, February 7, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Ronald Carota for 40 years before his passing in April of 2017.

Born in Nyack, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Renella) Albro.

Dianne loved spending time with her family. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Her happiest moments were always spent with her grandchildren, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way.

“If God gave us the chance to choose another mom, we’d choose her over and over again”.

She is survived by her children: Michael Wanamaker (Toni), Kevin Wanamaker (Dawn), Jamie Carota (Jennifer), Nicole Van-Deusen (Ryan); her grandchildren: Michael Wanamaker, Nicholas Wanamaker, Brianna Wanamaker, Kevin Wanamaker, Hailey Wanamaker, Emmaline Carota, Cole Carota, Parker Van-Deusen, Cody Van-Deusen, Ryliegh Van-Deusen; her great grandchild: Michael Wanamaker; and extended family.

In addition to her beloved husband Ron, Dianne was also preceded in death by her son Craig Wanamaker, her first husband: Charles “Tuna” Wanamaker; and her brother Robert Albro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. She will be laid to rest with Ronald with a private ceremony at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI.
