Diana Morenzi

Mrs. Diana (Perry) Morenzi, age 84, of 6 Rosita Avenue, Bristol, died Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Crestwood Nursing and Convalescent Home, 568 Child Street, Warren. She was the wife of the late Joseph Morenzi, Jr. Born in Fall River, MA and a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Mariano P. and Philomena Serpa. Mrs. Morenzi worked at the former PF Industries, the former Bristol Manufacturing and Converse Rubber Co. formerly in Bristol, for many years, retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and she loved spending time with her family and many friends, especially playing cards. She is survived by three children; Rhonda A. Nunes and her husband, Paul; Joseph Morenzi, III and his wife, Maura, all of Bristol and Patricia A. Patalano of Warren, five grandsons; Douglas Nadeau, Gary and Ryan Patalano, Connor and Cameron Morenzi, five great grandchildren; Nicholas Patalano, Jordan Tibbetts, Ella Marie Diana Patalano, Kalie Patalano and McKenzi Davis. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Trombley. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, April 16 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Wednesday, April 15 from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the JDRF Greater New Haven Chapter - Ride to Cure Diabetes (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), 2969 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518-2556 or to the Patient Activities Fund, Crestwood Nursing and Convalescent Home, 568 Child Street, Warren, RI 02885.
