Mr. David M. Vollaro, age 55, of 24 Congregational Street, Bristol, died Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Haven Health Center of Warren. Born in Fall River, MA and a lifelong resident of Bristol, he was the son of Florence (Rabideau) Vollaro of Bristol and the late Alphonse “Paduts” Vollaro. Mr. Vollaro was a packer at the former Carroll Cable Company formerly in Warren for 19 years, retiring in 1983. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. He was a lifelong NY Yankees Fan and a long time volunteer for the Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers; Kenneth Vollaro and his wife, Christine, Paul R. Vollaro and his wife Elaine, Jerry Vollaro and his wife, Anna, all of Bristol, a sister, Mary Ann Vollaro and her husband, Alan, of Conway, NH, ten nieces and nephews and four great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, December 3, 2007 at 9 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Sunday, 2:00-5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 414, Bristol, RI 02809.
