Carol N. Rouleau

Ms. Carol N. (Mantius) Rouleau, age 60, of 18 Fernwood Road, Bristol, formerly of East Providence, died Friday, November 28, 2008 at the Silver Creek Manor, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol. Born in Providence, and raised in Chepachet, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Olga (Johnson) Mantius. A resident of Bristol for the past 2 years, she previously resided in East Providence for over 30 years. She was a scheduler for the former Alperts Furniture Company in Seekonk, MA for several years, retiring in 2003 due to her illness. She had previously worked in Customer Service for the former Ann and Hope Store in Seekonk. She had started her career in the early 1970s for Allendale Insurance. She was a 1966 graduate from Ponaganset High School and received an associate degree in Accounting from RI Jr. College and an associate degree in English from CCRI. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy and games shows on TV. She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer L. Camara and her husband Eric, of Bristol, with whom she resided, two nieces, Linda Whalen of California and Barbara St. Denis of Chepachet, a nephew, Tim Deitrich of Georgia, two great nephews and a great niece. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Beard. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will precede the service from 4:00-7:00 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNS of Newport and Bristol Counties, P.O.
