Carol Jean Bausch

Mrs. Carol Jean Bausch, age 77, of 54 Barker Ave, Warren, formerly of Bristol, died, Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital Providence. She was the wife of the late John Bausch, Jr. Born in Queens, NY, and a resident in Long Island, NY for many years, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Imojean (Ash) Laubenheimer. Mrs. Bausch was a homemaker. She volunteered for the State Legislator in Long Island, NY, Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol and she was an avid sailor. Survivors include two daughters, Janet Bausch of Bristol, Jessica Tarter of Burlington, VT., two sons; John Bausch of Worcester, MA and Richard Bausch of Bristol. Also survived by six grandchildren, Rebecca, Meagan and Thomas Tarter, Victoria, Jack and Jacob Bausch, a brother, Bruce Laubenheimer of Coco Beach, FL. Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Service, Monday February 11, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood St., Bristol. Visiting hours prior to the service from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Herreshoff Marine Museum 1 Burnside St., Bristol, RI 02809.
