Carmela Marabello

Miss Carmela Marabello, age 85 of 20 Libby Lane, Warren and formerly of Bristol, died Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Filomena (Antinucci) Marabello. A resident of Warren for 25 years, she previously resided in Bristol for most of her life. Miss Marabello was a textile worker for the former Warren Dress Shop for 20 years, retiring in 1986. She previously worked at the former Collins and Aikman Company. Miss Marabello was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1939 and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. She was an avid Red Sox fan, a diehard Democrat and loved working on puzzles. She is survived by her sister, Alice L. Marabello of Warren, three nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by four brothers, Anthony G., Gaetano, Domenic G. and Frank Marabello and a sister, Rita Marabello. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, December 19 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Monday, 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
