Bertha Agatiello

Bertha (Saccoccio) Agatiello of Bristol, died on Sunday, August 7, 2022. She was the wife of the late Anthony E. Agatiello. Bertha leaves three children: Paul Agatiello of Bristol, Claire Agatiello Kent of Manchester, NH and Nancy Agatiello and her husband, Gus Gonzalez of Burlingame, CA. She leaves six grandchildren: Anthony D. Agatiello, Noah Kent and his wife Grace Li, Olivia and Hannah Kent, and Andrew and Brian Gonzalez. In addition, she leaves one great grandchild, Kai Kent. Her son, Anthony R. Agatiello preceded her in death. Bertha was born and raised in Cranston and was the daughter of Maddelena and Luigi Saccoccio. Bertha had nine siblings, now deceased: Mary, Peter, Robert, August, Frances, Raymond, Mary Ann, Mary Jane, and John. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 10am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Berthas name may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, 127 State Street, Bristol, RI 02809. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
