Bartholomew W. Pagano

Mr. Bartholomew W. Pagano, age 88, who resided at The Willows, Warren, RI and formerly of 31 Garfield Avenue, Bristol, died Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, 54 Barker Avenue, Warren. He was the husband of the late Florence (Dunbar) Pagano. Born in Bristol and a resident for most of his life, he was one of eleven children of the late Francesco “Frank” and Emilia (Batti) Pagano. Mr. Pagano was trained as a cobbler by his father and last worked as a landscaper for the Uncas Manufacturing Company before retiring. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a Mason. He is survived by a brother, Frank Pagano of Bristol, and four sisters, Catherine Lombardi of Barrington, Stella Catalfano of Warren, Eleanor Rodrigues of Bristol and Jeanette OConnel of Barrington. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside service with Military Honors on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
