Aristides J. 'Steve' Cabral

Mr. Aristides J. “Steve” Cabral, 85, of Franklin Street, Bristol, RI, died peacefully on January 8th, 2008. He was born in Bristol, RI to Manuel and Evarista Cabral of Bristol. He is survived by his wife for 60 years, Dorothy (Schmitt) Cabral and three children: Lynn Cabral of Fall River, MA, Debra Sullo, and her husband Louis of Bristol, RI, and Jeff Cabral, and his wife Mary of Winchester, MA. His grandson, Dustin Sullo of Bristol. He is the brother of Isabel Silva and John Cabral, both of Bristol. Preceded in death by his brothers; the late Joseph Cabral, David Cabral, Manuel Cabral, William “Bal” Cabral and Edward Cabral, and his sister Lillian Thom. He was WWII Navy Veteran and served from 1942-1945, he received a Victory Medal during such time. Former owner of Steves Auto body in Bristol from 1970-1983. He was an avid golfer and member of the Bristol Golf Course on weekdays. He loved Dunkin Donuts decaf coffee - no sugar. His favorite restaurant was the Country Inn in Warren, RI where he frequented with his lovely wife. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will be private.
