Antone J. Rapoza

Antone J, Rapoza, 94, passed away peacefully in Bristol on Monday July 26, 2021. He was the husband of the late Pauline P. (Pirri) Rapoza and the father of the late Jessica Silvia. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Manuel and Margaret Rapoza. Antone was very proud of his service to our nation in the United State Marine Corps. After being discharged Antone worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for many years. On his free time, he loved to be at the Loafers Corner with his friends. Antone was an avid sports fan especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Antone married into the Pirri family and leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom will always lovingly remember him as "Uncle Muff". In death Antone is reunited with his wife Pauline, his daughter Jessica, his parents, and his siblings: Manuel Rapoza, Jr., Mary Medeiros, Margaret Cabral, Joseph Rapoza, Deolinda Borges, John Rapoza, and George Rapoza. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday July 30, 2021 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Visiting hour will begin at 8:30 AM at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol.
