Anna Moran

Mrs. Anna (Vargas) Moran, age 102, formerly of Wilson St., Bristol, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Haven Health Center of Warren. She was the wife of the late Peter Moran.Born in Bristol, RI, she was a daughter of the late Manuel E. and Maria (Sousa) Vargas. Mrs. Moran worked as a stitcher for over 50 years for the former Bristol Manufacturing Co., formerly in Bristol. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality andalso counted money for the church for many years she was very devoted to her church. She is survived by a son, Ronald Moran and his wife, Annette of Bristol, three grandsons, Ronald, Peter and Kevin Moran and a great grandson, Andrew Joseph Moran. She is also survived by asister, Alice Turillo of Pawtucket. In addition to her husband andparents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Cabral and Rose Camara and a brother, Manuel Vargas. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
