Anna L. Dallaire

Mrs. Anna L. (Abate) Dallaire, age 92 of 12 Mount Avenue, Bristol, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA. She was the wife of the late Amedee L. “Medee” Dallaire. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident of Bristol and Warren, she was a daughter of the late Andrea and Maria (Ferrara) Abate. A homemaker, she was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. Mrs. Dallaire will be remembered for her loving devotion to her family and friends. She is survived by five children; Amedee Dallaire, Jr., of Dunedin, FL, Andrew Dallaire of Cornelius, NC, Jeanne Turner of Bristol, Carol Russell of Portsmouth and Robert Dallaire of Bristol, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter, a brother, Salvatore Abate of Lindenhurst, NY, two sisters, Frances Coury and Rose Andreozzi, both of Barrington. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Dallaire, a sister, Grace Proulx, and three brothers, Fortunato, Frank and Charles Abate. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Friday, December 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon St., Warren. Visiting hours, Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
