Aniello Parisi, age 88, of 9 Pearce Avenue, Bristol, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the RI Veterans Home, Bristol. He was the husband of the late Irene (Boyer) Parisi. Born in Bristol and a life long resident, he was the son of the late Domenico and Annie (Matrone) Parisi. Mr. Parisi worked as an Oil Burner Technician with DeBlois Oil Co. in Pawtucket for 30 years before retiring in 1984; he also worked for Frank J. Murphy Oil, Collins & Aikmans and Stop & Shop. He was a WW II Army Veteran anda communicant of Our Lady of MountCarmel Church, Bristol. He is survived by two sons, Domenic Parisi of Bristol, Paul Parisi of Riverside, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren and four great step-grandchildren, two Brothers, Anthony Parisi, andJoseph Parisi of East Providence. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Aniello Parisi, Jr., two brothers, Michael and Pasquale Parisi, and agranddaughter, Dawn Parisi. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141State Street, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Tuesday 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to RI Veterans Home “Activity Fund”, 480 Metacom Avenue, Bristol, RI 02809.
