Alice P. (Paiva) Osborne, age 91 of 160 Franklin Street, Bristol, died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Silver Creek Manor, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Philip E. Osborne, Jr. Born in Middleboro, MA, a daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Hortense (Tavares) Paiva. She worked as a spinner for the former Premier Thread Co., formerly in Bristol, for many years before retiring at number of years ago. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol. She is survived by two sisters Laura Mello and Kathleen Wilmarth both of Bristol, granddaughters, Alicia Eastwood and Rachael Miranda both of East Providence and five great grandchildren; Carlos, Aaron and Emily Eastwood, James and Brandon Miranda. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily O. Turner, grandchildren Renee St. Ours and Jesse Turner, great grandsons, Jesse and William St. Ours, four sisters, Mary Nappi, Emily Paiva, Hilda Carvara, Elsie Perry and four brothers Raymond, Jesse, William and Ralph Paiva. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visiting Hours Sunday Nov 4, 2007, 4:00-8:00 PM.
