Alice Cordeiro

Mrs. Alice “Allie” (Munro) Cordeiro, age 71, of 59 Burton St., Bristol, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Francesco Cordeiro. Born in Bristol, RI she was the daughter of the late George and Philomena (Mendes) Munro. Alice was a self employed Home Health Care Provider for many years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol. She was a member of the Morning Glories, The Tax Watch Committee and a founding member of the Bristol Christmas Festival Committee. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Claudia Martino-Campopiano and her husband Mike of Bristol, three sons, Steven F. Cordeiro and his wife Jane of Joliet, MT., William D. Cordeiro and his wife Ann of Coventry and David J. Cordeiro and his wife Grace of Bristol, her aunt, Louise Morency of Bristol, seven grandchildren and three great granddaughters. In addition toher husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Munro two sisters, Louise Almeida and Mary Ann Thivierge. Funeral services will be held from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will be private.
