Albert Laroche

Mr. Albert Laroche, age 88 of St. Elizabeth Manor, formerly of Villa Avenue, Bristol, died peacefully Sunday, October 23, 2016 at St. Elizabeths Manor, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Julia V. (Alves) Laroche, who preceded him in death in May of 2003. Born and raised in Warren, he was a son of the late Jean and Mary (Stride) Laroche. A resident of Bristol for 66 years, Albert worked in the maintenance department of the former Carr-Fulflex Manufacturing Company in Bristol for 35 years, retiring in 1985. He was a communicant of St. Marys Church and a member and past grand knight of the Bristol Council # 379, Knights of Columbus, Albert loved spending time with family and friends especially time with his grandchildren. He is survived by three children; David Laroche (Karen) of Bristol, Mark Laroche of Riverside and Ann Marie Maloney (Peter) of Myrtle Beach, SC, five grandchildren, Kara A. Dennis, Peter G. Laroche, Tessa Baily Laroche, Will Baily Laroche and Eva Baily Laroche, and a sister, Annette Letoile, of Narragansett. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Laroche and two sisters, Althea Gudlevich and Eva Newman. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Marys Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
