Albert C. Frazier

Mr. Albert C. “Al” Frazier, age 84, of 936 Hope Street, Bristol, died Wednesday, October 03, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Angelina “Angela” (Zammarelli) Frazier. Born in South Bend, Washington, he was a son of the late Martin Edgar and Ella Leona (Jackson) Frazier. He was a retired Lieutenant with the RI DEM Environmental Police for 28 years, retiring in 1983. He previously was a SM1 in the US Navy and the Navy Reserve for 40 years, serving in both WWII and the Korean Conflict retiring from the Navy Reserve also in 1983. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, Naval Enlisted Reserve Association and the RI Conservation Officers Association and a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. He is survived by two daughters, Diane L. Minter of Riverside, and Michele M. Allen of San Diego, CA, a son, Brian M. Frazier of Lincoln, VT, five grandchildren, Daisy Minter of Los Angeles, CA, Timothy Allen of San Diego, CA, Lindsay Frazier of Rehoboth, MA, Ian Albert and Mason Frazier, both of Lincoln, VT. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a step brother, Elmer W. Snell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
