Mrs. Flora (D'Alessio) Oliveira, age 91, of Silver Creek Manor, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol and formerly of 38 Fatima Drive, Warren, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late Arthur Oliveira. Born and raised in Bristol and a resident of Warren for 58 years, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Maria (Cinque) D'Alessio. She worked as a seamstress and sample maker and later a floor lady for the former Well Made Dress Shop in Warren for many years retiring in the 1980's. She was an avid painter working with oils and water colors and she was especially fond of painting landscapes. She also liked making and painting ceramics. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, William, Frank and Edward D'Alessio and five sisters, Ethel Burke, Rose Burke, Yolanda Mascola, Ann Rash and Hortense D'Alessio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
