Joaquin Amaral

Mr. Joaquin Amaral, age 90 of Hope Street, Bristol, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Marie (Cruz) Amaral, his loving wife of 35 years. Born in Cranston, RI and a lifelong Bristol resident he was the son of the late Joseph and Maria (Augusta) Amaral. Joaquin was a truck driver for many years for the former EB McGurk formerly in Hartford, CT. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Amaral of Medfield, MA, Jack Amaral of Ellington, CT a daughter Carol Argenta of Windsor, CT., a step-son, Paul Mello and a step-daughter, Linda Nielson both of Bristol. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, November 22, 2010 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial followed in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.
