Richard will be missed by the students at WQRI 88.3 and myself; we enjoyed having him as part of our station and loved Dr. Dix weekly show. He became part of the community and many of our students will deeply miss him, his humor and his place in our community

Richard planned to be on St Mary July 4 float.. He worked happi;y on it many days prior. What a shock for we float members when we couldn't locate him at 7am July 4. This turned out to be another of his long legacy items.

Richard's wife Irene was a first cousin to Ron. Irene was very special to Ron and over the years we shared many happy memories. Richard's artistic talent was highly respected and we were fortunate to personally receive several books that he wrote about his hometown of Bristol. Richard will be missed by his family and friends . . . Rest in Peace!

Dick (as he was called growing up) and I went through St. Paul's and LaSalle together and car pooled to LaSalle in our Junior and Senior Years. I joined the Air Force in 1955 and ended up living all over the world and lost contact with many friends. Dick's Dad looked me up in England around 1957-58 when he was back there. Many fond memories from the Edgewood neighborhood. Barbara and I went to many events with Dick we did a lot with St. Paul's teenage canteen. Rest in Peace Dick. Jim & Barb
