Mrs. Patricia M. (Botelho) Romano, age 77 of Bristol, died peacefully Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Silver Creek Manor, Bristol, which she co-owned with her late husband, Gerald P. Romano, her husband of 56 years who preceded her in death in October of 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Borges) Botelho. She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol, Class of 1958. A Registered Nurse, Pat graduated from the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, School of Nursing in 1961. She worked at the Grace Barker Nursing Center in Warren for 16 years before retiring. Following her retirement Pat worked part time at Delekta Pharmacy in Warren for 20 years. Pat will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother, enjoying every moment spent with family, especially all the times with them at her home in North Conway, New Hampshire. She is survived by two children; Kimberly A. Ciociola (John) of Bristol and Jay Romano of Barrington, four grandchildren; Kathryn E. Geagan (Matthew) of Norwood, MA, Matthew M. Ciociola, Kyler R. and Kaden A. Romano, all of Barrington, a great grandson, Aiden W. Geagan, a sister, Linda Dionne (Laurence) of Warren and two nieces, Sandra A. Imondi, Brewer, ME and Krista J. Pallotta (Jeff) of Rehoboth, MA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Medeiros. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Silver Creek Manor Activities Department, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol, RI 02809.
