Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Campagna, 79, of Warren passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Grace Barker Nursing home.
Born and raised in Bristol, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Louise (Iasiello) Campagna.
Mary Lou attended Colt Memorial High school and participated as a Cheer Leader, a member of the Green and White staff, Pegasus staff, French Glee club, Debating club, Chorus of Operetta, and Future Teachers of America.
After graduating from Colt Memorial High School in 1961, Mary Lou attended Rhode Island School of Design and ultimately completed her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. After college, she went on to become an Art teacher for a School system in Rhode Island. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church in Bristol.
Mary Lou is survived by her two brothers: Anthony F. Campagna (Susan Adams Campagna), Frank J. Campagna, Jr. (Jane Constans Campagna) and a few extended family and friends.
She was pre-deceased by her parents; Frank and Louise (Iasiello) Campagna and her sister; Anne (Campagna) Krause.
A Visiting Hour will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol from 9:00 AM- 10:00 AM. A service will be held at Sansone Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Mary Lou will be laid to rest with her parents in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
