My thoughts, sympathy and prayers of strength are with you all at this time of the loss of your dear mother and family matriarch. She lived such a long and cherished life. As she is to your family - she will still in the fabric of this house, and I am honored to be it's next keeper. Thank you for posting the tribute to her.

Mom , I miss you terribly. I hope I was the daughter you raised me to be. You became such a part of mine and John's lives. I hope we made you feel wanted and loved. I will love you and dad forever. Some day I will be with you both again.. Love to you both. Be at peace.

Aunt Mary, one of the sweetest people I've known. May you rest in peace. You and Uncle Eddy were always quite the hosts. So many wonderful memories of family get together's when I was young. 4th of July at your house was the best place to be! and not to mention your Italian cheesecake. Until we meet again.

Such fond memories of Aunt Mary. Always so caring. Some of my best childhood memories were at the family compound for July 4th. Sorry for your loss.

To describe Mr. Calandra as a kind and gentle person is so perfect a description of her. I don't remember a time in my childhood that she wasn't there at the school in the church or welcoming me into her home which always made me feel so good. Yes I remember her as a very special person. I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a mother is a very difficult thing to deal with. Mom's are the glue that hold everything together.

Words can't express my feelings on the lost of a great aunt who was so good to me. I know you are with Uncle Eddy now a man I'll never forget either .Rest in peace Aunt Mary until we meet again and thank Uncle Eddy again for me and my brother and sisters for keeping sneakers and boots on our feet as we grew up .
